I am committed to registering only the highest-quality candidates, each with recognised childcare qualifications and/or an outstanding career history.
Before a candidate applies for any role, I personally conduct thorough face-to-face interviews to ensure they meet all necessary criteria, including:

A current DBS check on the update service

A paediatric first aid certificate, issued within the last 3 years

Employment references from at least their last three positions

Verified identification, including passport

For nannies with driving responsibilities, a valid driving licence and business use on their car insurance

My journey in childcare began in 1999 after completing a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies, followed by an HNC in Early Years. I started my career in the day nursery sector, gaining hands-on experience with children of all ages and working my way up to a unit manager. However, my true passion lay in Nannying. In 2002, I joined a wonderful family, marking the start of my fulfilling career as a Nanny.
After years of dedicated Nannying, I welcomed my first daughter, Ava, in 2012, followed by Olivia in 2014. Becoming a mother deepened my understanding of the importance of high-quality childcare, reinforcing my commitment to helping families find the best care for their little ones.
In 2020, I founded Cheshire Nannies—a service dedicated to connecting families with exceptional Nannies who share my passion for providing outstanding home-based childcare.
